Rit Inn & Conference Center Henrietta, Henrietta

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were not as clean as I hoped, and the noise outside was bothersome. However, the staff was warm and helpful. The location suited my visit well, but there were some inconveniences. The dining left much to be desired, but the facilities were decent.

The hotel room was in the older wing, which was unacceptable due to cleanliness reasons, despite smelling fresh inside the conference room. However, the shuttle service to Strong Memorial was a great help with family members in the hospital. The staff was understanding and even provided us with extra regular coffee K-Cups daily, showing their thoughtfulness. The location was convenient for our needs in Scottsville and shopping in Henrietta, although a bit of a drive and not close to the mall and restaurant area. The dining experience, delivered from Petals restaurant, was horrendous, making it the biggest disappointment of our stay. However, the free parking and easy-to-find position were positive aspects.

I found the hotel to be a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a bit tired looking and could use some updating, but the crisp linen on the beds was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to par, and the lack of soundproofing was a downside. On the bright side, the service was hit or miss, with friendly staff but some issues with training for business transactions. The location was convenient for my needs, being close to family in Scottsville and shopping in Henrietta, but the ongoing renovations were a bit of a bother. The dining experience left much to be desired, especially with overpriced K-Cups and a horrendous meal from Petals restaurant. Despite the shortcomings, I did enjoy the free parking and the proximity to the Erie Canal.
